Art of Childhood shows the world through a child's eyes

The show, which continues through April 29, is a collaboration between the Vivian Olum Child Development Center, Moss Street Children’s Center and Co-op Family Center. The centers serve children from infants through school-age.

Working together, the centers assembled a variety of pieces that represent the children’s creative work. Artwork includes drawings, paintings and sculptures created by children actively enrolled in one of the child care centers.

The show offers an opportunity to glimpse of the world through a child’s eyes and experience the creativity that comes with childhood.

The three child-care centers organizing the event collectively serve more than 300 children from faculty staff and student families with child care and education programs.  A much-valued service in the campus community, the centers look forward to sharing the children’s artwork with the campus community each year.

Vivian Olum Child Development Center provides child care services for university faculty and staff, and Moss Street Children’s Center serves students with child-care needs.  The Co-op Family Center is a private, non-profit child-care provider affiliated with Spencer View Family Housing.
