A new waterline installation and hardscape activity for the Student Recreation Center and continued work at Straub Hall are impacting vehicle and pedestrian traffic on 15th Avenue between Agate and University streets. Flaggers are stationed at Agate and University streets to assist drivers, cyclists and pedestrians if alternative routes are needed. The work is expected to continue until July 18 when preparations for the World Junior Track and Field Championships begin.
Later in the summer, the crane will be removed from the Straub Hall site, the artificial turfs will be replaced adjacent to the Student Rec Center, and landscape and hardscape will be completed.
