University Convocation is one of the UO’s proudest traditions and will be at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28. Convocation ceremonies are at Matthew Knight Arena with an academic processional. 

Convocation serves as the university’s official welcome to new students and faculty and celebrates academic excellence, innovation and intellectual curiosity.

All faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the processional. Any member of the UO community who has a bachelor’s degree or higher is invited to wear academic regalia for this event.
