Deadline is March 29 to nominate research titles for purchase

The deadline is March 29 for nominations from UO faculty for research titles that the UO Libraries should add through an awards program.

Each year, the UO Libraries adds several new research titles to its collections through the Stanley B. Greenfield Faculty Awards Program. Greenfield was a longtime professor of English at the UO and a longtime personal advocate for the library.

Through this program, UO faculty members nominate significant research titles for possible purchase. Library administration will select titles from the nominees and make awards to acquire those titles; all purchases are funded through the combination of the Greenfield Awards Endowment Fund and designated private gifts.

For more information about the program, call Keri Aronson at (541) 346-1890 or e-mail her at keria@uoregon.edu.
