Elder care is the next topic in HR's summer seminar series

The Office of Human Resources continues its summer wellness seminar series with an exploration of elder care options.

A representative from Cascade Centers, the UO’s employee assistance provider, will discuss how to evaluate available options and what questions to ask providers. The presentation is from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, in Room 282, Lillis Hall.

More information, including registration instructions, is available on the Wellness Seminar Series webpage

The summer seminar series focuses on different aspects of personal well-being. The sessions are open to all benefit-eligible employees and are free.

The final session, titled Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and the Importance of Restful Sleep, will take place from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9, in the Erb Memorial Union’s Redwood Auditorium.

Audio recordings of all presentations are available on the Wellness Seminar Series webpage following each session.

HR also provides a variety of helpful resources in the Work-Life Resources section of the HR website. These resources assist employees as they seek a balance between their work life and personal life.
