Faculty and staff are invited to lead monthly community runs and walks in Run with a Researcher.

Held the first Saturday of the month starting Oct. 1, the flat 4.5-mile runs and 5K walks will start at the Erb Memorial Union and lead to Pre’s Trail. Researchers and participants can continue their conversations post-run/walk over coffee in the EMU.

The goal of the program is to give UO researchers a new and informal way to share their work with the community.

Run with a Researcher originally launched during the Olympic Track & Field Trials. It was a huge success with more than 400 people running with UO faculty and staff during the event.
