GEO asks students to capture their experiences abroad

Global Education Oregon, the UO’s study abroad office, recently launched a new campaign to encourage students to study abroad.

The program sent a camera and a selfie stick around the world. Students were given the honorary title of “selfographers” and asked to record a global journey.

Ducks Around the World” is an epic video-adventure that takes the viewer across five continents and 10 countries.

Students are seen exploring waterfalls in Ghana, snorkeling in Curaçao and admiring landscape architecture in Japan.

The complete list of locations and students who participated in the video project can be found below the video on International Affairs’ Vimeo channel.
