Portland Business Journal spotlights new UO Portland building

The UO’s Portland-based executive MBA and sports product management programs now have a building of their own, a change recently highlighted in the Portland Business Journal.

They’re sharing a recently developed space in Old Town Chinatown, where they moved this term. They plan to use the building not only for education, but also to host events with companies like Nike, Adidas and Columbia.

Sports product management students use the building Monday through Thursday, and MBA students use it over the weekend.

“It feels nice to finally have a permanent home,” said Cadence Stephens, assistant director for the sports product management program, “and it’s a home that really reflects our values and ideas while also being a modern, fun, cool space.”
