Portland Career Conversations event focuses on ‘Ducks in Tech’

University of Oregon alumni who are leaders in the technology sector will be featured at the seventh annual Career Conversations event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, at the White Stag Block in Portland.
 
“Ducks in Tech” is an opportunity to get insider information about the growing technology sector in Portland. Panelists are Maggie Davis, worldwide business manager at HP; Todd Underwood, vice president of finance at Intel; Heather Deibele, director of manufacturing operations at Pacific Light Technologies; and Sam Blackman, CEO and co-founder of Elemental Technologies, Inc.
 
The event is hosted by Portland Alumni Career Services. It is free for current UO student and 2015-16 graduates, $5 for UO Alumni Association Members, and $10 for the general public. To register, visit the UOAA website.
