The work of Student Support Services is featured in newspaper article

Helping students who might otherwise struggle and drop out is the work of the UO’s Student Support Services program, and its efforts were recently featured in an article in The Register-Guard.

The story focused on work done to help students who are the first in their family to attend college or whose socioeconomic background or personal situation makes them more likely to need help. It also notes that Student Support Services recently was awarded a new five-year grant to fund the program.

The UO program helps more students than any other Oregon institution and has been in existence for almost 50 years.
