Workshop will provide overview for non-tenure-track faculty

Career non-tenure-track faculty members are invited to attend a workshop on evaluation and promotion. The workshop will also provide a helpful overview for new unit heads and managers.

The Monday, Nov. 27 workshop will include discussion about promotion and evaluation for both instructional and research career non-tenure-track faculty members. Topics include timelines, candidate and unit responsibilities and dossier preparation.

Representatives from the Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation will be on hand to answer questions. Participants are encouraged to review OPAA guidance and their unit’s non-tenure-track faculty members review and promotion policy in advance.

The workshop will be held in EMU Gumwood room 245. Register online by Nov. 23.

The Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs offers workshops for faculty and academic leadership throughout the year. For more information, see the Academic Affairs website.
