Center for the Study of Women in Society holds research grant information workshop

UO faculty and graduate students from any academic discipline wishing to apply for a research grant from the Center for the Study of Women in Society (CSWS) are invited to attend an information session from noon to 1 p.m. today, Nov. 16, in the Jane Grant Room, 330 Hendricks Hall.

Carol Stabile, CSWS director, will provide information and answer questions.

Since 1984, CSWS has awarded more than$1.16 million in faculty research grants;$403,000 in Jane Grant dissertation fellowshipsand $371,000 in graduate student research grants.

The application deadline is Jan. 18 for research expenses incurred from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. Grant guidelines and applications can be accessed online. Application proposals must have a women- and gender-related component.
