What You Need to Know
During summer term, COVID-19 resources remain available to UO students and employees. The UO is continuing to provide the following COVID-19 resources:
Prevention: Masks are welcome on campus. Wearing a mask is an effective way to reduce the risk of COVID-19. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends certain situations when you should wear masks for additional protection.
There are additional personal preventative strategies you can take to reduce your risk of COVID-19 including:
COVID-19 Testing Summer Schedule: The UO testing program, MAP, is now located at Chiles Hall on the corner of Kincaid and East 13th Avenue (across from the Duck Store). Asymptomatic testing is held inside and symptomatic testing is in the tent near the South entrance of Chiles Hall.
Summer hours are:
- Monday/Wednesday: 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Tuesday/Thursday: 10:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m.-noon
- Symptomatic and walk-in testing ends 30 minutes prior to closing or when capacity has been reached that day.
- Plan ahead. MAP will be closed on July 4.
MAP is offering 350 tests per day, including symptomatic and walk-in testing. Make your appointment early to ensure your time and date preference. Masks continue to be required at MAP testing sites, including in line outside.
MAP will remain open to UO students and employees and Lane County community members during the World Athletics Championships Oregon22. For more information about COVID-19 testing including how to register for a test, visit the Coronavirus Resources website.
Corona Corps: Starting on July 1, the Corona Corps will be called the Oregon Public Health Corps. The Care Team will remain available for students Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., closed on university holidays.
Vaccine Cards: If you were vaccinated in Oregon, the Oregon Health Authority now provides a way to download an electronic copy of your COVID-19 vaccine card.
