What You Need to Know

As we continue moving forward together, we all play a role in promoting wellness for ourselves and those around us. The university continues to provide COVID-19 resources including free boosters and testing, and access to masks and support. You are encouraged to use available COVID-19 resources, stay vigilant, and take personal responsibility for your wellness. Taking care of yourself is a way you can help take care of our UO community.

Get boosted through University Health Services.

University Health Services and Oregon Health Authority are co-sponsoring COVID-19 vaccine booster clinics with the new bivalent booster specifically tailored to the Omicron variant. Beginning October 3, COVID-19 vaccine boosters are available to both UO students and employees. Dates, timed and locations are listed below.
Masks are welcome.
While not required, the UO supports the personal choice to wear a mask and makes them available to employees (view locations for mask distribution). They are required in some locations such as health care settings including University Health Services and Monitoring and Assessment Program (MAP) testing sites. Bring a mask if visiting a place where masks are required
Free, voluntary COVID-19 testing is available on the Eugene campus.
The UO's Monitoring and Assessment Program provides free COVID-19 testing for UO employees, students, and Lane County residents age 3 and older. MAP provides tests for asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic individuals who do not need a medical evaluation. Visit the UO COVID-19 Safety Resources website for more information.
If you start feeling sick, go or stay home.
Limiting exposure to others when you feel ill is an important safety measure regardless of COVID-19 risk or exposure. Refer to the UO COVID-19 Safety Resources website for COVID-19 specific guidance.
