  • Thank you to all who tuned in to watch President Schill’s Virtual Town Hall this afternoon. There were more than 1,250 who viewed this live and it already has more than 2,700 views. A video recording of the town hall is available here.
     
  • President Schill announced that $1 million in philanthropic support is now available for the Students in Crisis Fund to help students who are dealing with serious financial disruptions. If you are in a financial crisis that could negatively impact your academics, please call 541-346-3216 or visit dos.uoregon.edu. To give to the fund, visit giving.uoregon.edu.
     
  • To assist students transitioning this week to remote instruction, the UO has established a single page from which students can navigate to remote classes, academic support, technology resources, and activities and involvement. Students can find quick links at remote.uoregon.edu.
     
  • The University Health Center continues to offer services to students even if they are not in Eugene. This includes the counseling center and a nurse advice hotline at (541) 346-2770.
     
  • The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases increased to 606 in Oregonincluding 12 in Lane County and 100 in Multnomah County.
     
  • The university continues to work in close coordination with the Oregon Health Authority and our companion institutions and agencies.
