DAILY CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Latest news and campus resources

Here is the current information related to university operations and programs. The latest information is available on the UO Coronavirus webpage and FAQ page.

  • Students received additional information in the Quick Quack email today about remote education for spring term, including technical resources, course supplies, student services, remote learning tips, and ideas for staying connected.
     
  • The Frequently Asked Questions page has been updated with additional information including information about the reduction in student fees for spring term, access to tutoring and academic support, and support for students in crisis.
     
  • The university will hold a virtual town hall for students and their families to answer questions about remote education, student support, and how the UO is protecting campus and the community during the COVID-19 outbreak. The event will be livestreamed from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30. You may submit a question ahead of time anonymously using this web form. Additional information and a link for the livestream is coming soon and will be available on coronavirus webpage.
     
  • The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases increased to 316 in Oregonincluding eight in Lane County.
     
  • The university continues to work in close coordination with the Oregon Health Authority and our companion institutions and agencies.
     
  • Questions, concerns or suggestions not addressed in the FAQs should continue to be directed to this web form or to the coronavirus information line at 541-346-7007 (the line is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays).
