December grants include exploring ocean data through sound and math interventions

UO researchers received 43 new grants contracts and awards in December, including a grant from Vanderbilt University to study the effects of combined attention and academic interventions for kindergarten children with significant difficulties in mathematics and a grant from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution for exploring ocean data through sound.
