Duck Nest seeks employee ambassadors for wellness program

The Duck Nest Wellness Center is recruiting faculty and staff volunteers for the second year of the wellness ambassador program.

Wellness ambassadors share their passion for work-life balance and promote self-care. Promoting general wellness for all members of the campus community is a primary purpose of the Duck Nest.

The program applies the peer-to-peer education model already in place at the Duck Nest. Wellness ambassadors will commit one to two hours per month to give interactive presentations, table at new employee orientations, distribute wellness information, and create wellness opportunities within their own units and departments.

Faculty and staff members interested in becoming a part of the wellness initiative can learn more about the wellness ambassador program and apply online. Applications are due by Aug. 17 at 5 p.m.

Wellness ambassadors will be selected by a program steering committee. Contact Kate Stoysich (kates@uoregon.edu) with questions.
