Duck Store seeks nominations for 2018-19 board of directors

The Duck Store is seeking nominations for its 2018-19 board of directors.

Open positions include a classified staff or officer of administration position for a two-year term, a faculty-at-large position for a two-year term and a range of student positions. Faculty and staff can use this as an opportunity for service and campus involvement while students can add a job learning about nonprofits, retail and business to their resumé.

“Being on the board of directors is an amazing opportunity to serve your constituency in helping fulfill the mission of The Duck Store, which is to serve the UO students, faculty, staff and related community,” said Natalie Eggert, Duck Store chief human resources officer.

Interested candidates can be nominated at The Duck Store annual meeting Tuesday, April 10, at 2 p.m. at the Erb Memorial Union’s Oak Room. Anyone who is a current student, faculty member or staff member can attend the annual meeting.

The current president and treasurer will give reports and the CEO will deliver a state-of-the-store address. Gift cards will be given away in drawings. For more information contact Eggert at neggert@uoregon.edu.
