End-of-term infusion to benefit Ducks Feeding Ducks

As the 2019-20 academic year comes to a close, opportunities remain to donate money to Ducks Feeding Ducks, one of the University of Oregon’s food security initiatives, to help provide meals to students in need.

From June 3-7, dining locations at the Erb Memorial Union will donate proceeds from certain purchases. Following are the dates, vendors and participating items:

  • June 3: Fresh Corner Market — $1 for each mighty bowl
  • June 4: Townshend’s Tea — $1 for each bubble tea
  • June 5: Panda Express — 20 percent for all menu items
  • June 6: Falling Sky — $1 for each pizza slice
  • June 7: Jamba — $1 for each watermelon smoothie

Throughout the week, Joe's Burgers, the Duck Store and all UO dining venues are also offering the option to round up your bill and contribute the extra money to Ducks Feeding Ducks.

In addition to the EMU vendor campaign, anyone with a Duck Bucks account can transfer funds to the meal assistance program.

While returning students, faculty members and staff can continue to access their Duck Bucks accounts after the end of spring term, graduating students have three options: use their remaining balance, request refunds on balances over $5 or donate their remaining funds to Ducks Feeding Ducks.
