Faculty workshop will offer help on applying for NIH grants

Research Development Services will host an information session at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, called “Navigating the NIH for Early Career Researchers.”

The event is an opportunity for UO researchers interested in applying for funding from the National Institutes of Health. Attendees can expect to learn about the institute’s review process, agency policies and procedures, and resources available to UO faculty members to increase their chances of success. Early career faculty are encouraged to attend, as are established investigators seeking their first NIH award.

Research Development Services offers a variety of services to assist researchers in securing funding. The information session will take place in Room 225, Streisinger Hall from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Coffee and snacks will be provided. Contact Research Development Services at rds@uoregon.edu if planning to attend.
