Kids of all ages can hit the rock wall at the Family Rec Open House

It’s trite but true: The family that plays together, stays together.

You and your family are invited to the annual University of Oregon Family Recreation Open House, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 in the UO Student Recreation Center.

Your family can join other UO families in celebrating the Student Recreation Center family hours, in an event that is free for all students and employees with your UO identification.

Special Activities include:

·         2-5 p.m.: Rock wall, swimming and open gym

·         2-4 p.m.: Ping pong and crafts

·         3-4 p.m.: Meet the UO Duck

·         4-5 p.m.: Mat room is open for tumbling

Parents must accompany children at all UO Family Recreation Open House events.

The event is sponsored by Work-Life Resources, Nontraditional Student Programs and the Student Recreation Center. For more information, contact Work-Life Resources at 541-346-6292 or Lindsey Arkfeld at larkfeld@uoregon.edu.
