Finalists for senior vice provost to give campus talks June 9, 10 and 11

Three finalists for the position of senior vice provost for academic affairs will give presentations on campus this month.

The candidates are Susan Anderson, professor of German and Scandinavian; Carol Stabile, professor of journalism and communication; and Frances White, professor of anthropology. Letters of interest and CVs are available here.

Presentations will be public, and there will be opportunity for campus colleagues to meet with each candidate.

Stabile will give her presentation Tuesday, June 9, at 11 a.m. in Room 101, Jaqua Academic Center, and the campus colleagues’ meeting will be held from 9:15 to 10 a.m. in Room 122, Knight Library.

Anderson will speak Wednesday, June 10, at 11 a.m. in Room 221, Allen Hall, with a campus colleagues’ meeting in the Leona Tyler Room at Susan Campbell Hall from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.

White will speak at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 11, in Room 221, Allen Hall. Her meeting with campus colleagues will be held from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. in Room 109, Friendly Hall.

The campus community is invited to attend the presentations and to engage with the finalists at the events or at other meetings where they are present. After each presentation, a survey link will be activated to collect feedback.

The link will be on the same Web page as the candidate information. The presentations also will be recorded.
