Free COVID-19 testing is available on the UO campus

With winter gatherings on the horizon, the UO’s Monitoring and Assessment Program reminds the UO and Lane County communities that free COVID-19 testing is available at McArthur Court.

Individuals with mild viral symptoms, similar to a common cold, can walk in for testing. Symptomatic testing takes place at the McArthur Court ticket booths. Asymptomatic individuals can register ahead of time or walk in and are tested inside McArthur Court.

Walk-in testing ends 30 minutes prior to closing. Masks are required at COVID-19 testing sites, including in line outside.

MAP offers PCR tests using the saliva collection method. Results are available within 1-4 business days.

MAP will be closed during university scheduled holidays. To ensure results ahead of closures, MAP will be open 8 a.m.-noon Nov. 23 and Dec. 22 and 29.

For instructions on how to register, the current week’s schedule and upcoming closures, visit the coronavirus resources website.
