Inaugural UO Excellence in Advising Awards presented to two recipients

J. Josh Snodgrass and Kimberly Rambo-Reinitz were recognized with the inaugural University of Oregon Excellence in Advising Awards. The awards recognize and celebrate the positive impact of exceptional advising and mentoring on the student educational experience.

Snodgrass, associate professor from the Department of Anthropology, received the Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award.

Rambo-Reinitz, assistant director academic advising at Lundquist College of Business, received the Outstanding Professional Advising Award.

Kimberly Rambo-Reinitz receives her Excellence in Advising Award

The awards were given during a reception and brunch on May 27. The awards were a collaboration between the All Campus Advising Association (ACAA) and the Division of Undergraduate Studies.

More than 150 nominations were received, for a total of 92 faculty and professional advisors. The nominations represented 44 departments, colleges and student support offices.
