Leftover Textover returns after a two-year break

The University of Oregon Leftover Textover program is back after a two-year hiatus. The program alerts students via text message when leftover food is available on campus.

The excess portions are from campus events where UO Catering provided more food than needed.

Students who opt-in to the program will be sent a text 15 minutes in advance of food being set out, with a location link provided on the UO campus map. Be sure to arrive at the event with a container to take food with you.

Current UO students can sign up online for the Leftover Textover program. University faculty members, staff and event organizers who want to donate catering leftovers can contact UO Catering directly.
