March grant awards include one for earthquake forecasting

UO researchers received 33 new grants contracts and awards in March, including a grant from the National Science Foundation for forecasting earthquake shaking intensity and tsunami amplitude from crustal deformation patterns with machine learning, and a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice for a law school clinic to serve victims and teach future attorneys how to serve victims.
