Meeting spaces changed to accommodate interest in equity and inclusion discussions

Meeting sites for this week's discussions of an equity and inclusion action plan and restructuring of the UO's Office of Equity and Inclusion have been changed to accommodate the expected high interest in both topics.

The first three town hall meetings are intended as opportunites for Yvette Alex-Assensoh, the UO's vice president for equity and inclusion, to gather input for the university's equity and inclusion action plan. The fourth meeting - on Friday - will be a discussion of the ongoing restructuring of the Office of Equity and Inclusion.

The first of the town hall meetings will be from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 9), in the EMU's Fir Room. The second will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, in Room 184 at the Knight Law Center. The third will be from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, in Room 184 of the Knight Law Center.

The fourth meeting will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, in the EMU's Fir Room.
