Members of the UO benefits team are available to help with open enrollment

Benefit-eligible employees must take action by Thursday, Oct. 31, to complete the open enrollment process. Those who do not meet the deadline will incur penalties, which include higher plan deductibles, surcharges and loss of dependent coverage.

The benefits office maintains an open enrollment webpage to provide employees with instructions, information and quick links to everything needed to complete the process quickly.

Team members are also available to help. The benefits office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays for employees to get their questions answered. The office is also equipped with computers for employees who need access to a device to complete open enrollment online. Employees are encouraged to call 541-346-3085 or stop by the Office of Human Resources to get the support they need to meet the deadline. HR is located in the PeaceHealth North Building off campus at 677 E. 12th Ave., Suite 400.

Benefit-eligible employees are invited to an open enrollment presentation on Oct. 10 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Fenton Hall, room 110. A member of the benefits team will provide an overview of open enrollment, including plan changes, and be available to answer questions.

More information about open enrollment is available in a recent Around the O article or on the HR website.
