The Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation is accepting nominations for Outstanding Research Awards in the following categories:
- Outstanding Career Award: to be awarded to up to two tenured faculty of associate or full professor rank.
- Early Career Award: to be awarded to up to two tenure-track faculty members at the assistant professor rank.
- Outstanding Accomplishment Award: one award for a career non-tenure-track faculty member engaged in independent research activities and another for a career non-tenure-track faculty member engaged in technical activities in support of research.
- Innovation and Impact Award: one award for an individual or team for outstanding entrepreneurial activity.
Awardees of these categories receive a commendation — including $1,000, or $2,500 for a team in research support — a recognition memento and highlighting of their work. Nominations or self-nominations are due Friday, April 6, and should be addressed to David Conover, vice president for research and innovation, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
