Nominations sought for annual advising excellence awards

Students, staff and faculty members are encouraged to nominate advisers for the University of Oregon Excellence in Undergraduate Advising Awards. 

The outstanding professional adviser award will go to a professional undergraduate adviser, and the outstanding faculty adviser award will go to an appointed tenure-track, non-tenure-track or pro tem faculty member who mentors or advises undergraduate students in addition to teaching and researching.

The award winners will each receive $2,000 and be recognized at an awards ceremony May 31. The Division of Undergraduate Studies and the All-Campus Advising Association coordinate the awards program annually.

Nominations are due Feb. 15 via A committee of faculty members, advisers and administrators will review applications.
