Open houses, survey will help guide future campus growth

Members of the campus community are invited to take part in a survey and two upcoming open house meetings that will gather information to help guide future growth at the UO.

Campus planners are asking people to tell them about special places on campus and places that need work, as well as how they get from one place to another on campus. The responses will be part of the UO Campus Physical Framework Vision Project.

The first open house will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, in the Giustina Ballroom of the Ford Alumni Center. The second will be the next day, Feb. 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Gerlinger Hall lounge.

The MyCampus survey will open Feb. 13 and will close Feb. 28; a website link to the survey will be released soon. Participants will be able to click or drag icons to a map to identify favorite indoor and outdoor places, spots where they study or work, areas they think are hard to navigate or give a variety of other information.

Those taking the survey also are asked to respond to a series of questions about their campus experiences. Those who complete survey will be entered in a random drawing for four $25 Duck Store gift certificates.
