Rec center offers free access and activities for UO faculty, staff

The Department of PE and Recreation will host its annual Rec the Rainbow appreciation event for UO faculty and staff on Friday, March 16.

This event offers free activities for all faculty, staff and their families, 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center. Participants can compete for prizes by picking up a list of events at the Welcome Desk and completing the activities, including:

  • Cornhole in the lobby
  • Rainbow Route climb on the rock wall
  • Three-point basketball shot in the Downtown aquatics area
  • Webfoot CrossFit “Minute to Win It” in Room 50
  • Color cycle 50-minute cycling class in the cycling studio at 11 a.m.
  • Barre strength in Room 41 at noon
  • Youth and family carnival game in the Lobby

Rec center membership is not required to participate.
