Session set for teachers on addressing the election in class

Faculty and graduate employees are invited to join the Teaching Engagement Program on Tuesday, Nov. 15, for a strategy sharing session on addressing the election in class.

The program will open a space to discuss needs ranging from immediate classroom concerns and resources for student support to longer-term ways to strengthen the teaching and learning community.

The session will be held in Room 111, Susan Campbell Hall from 3-4:30 p.m. Questions can be addressed to tep@uoregon.edu or 541-346-2177.

The Teaching Engagement Program offers consultations and workshops throughout the academic year, including sessions to encourage a vibrant and welcoming academic community. Faculty and graduate student teachers with questions about classroom climate and inclusive teaching can submit them online and receive feedback within two business days.
