University seeks students to serve as campus ambassadors

Applications are now open for the university’s Ambassador Program, the UO’s primary student recruitment team. Ambassadors help with campus tours, open houses and off-site fairs and receptions.

Micah Howe, assistant director of visit programs, said ambassadors often serve as the first contact prospective students have with the UO.

“Ambassadors have a profound impact as they help students and families navigate their college search process,” Howe said.

Ambassadors earn $12.25-13.05 per hour. Other benefits include flexible scheduling, networking with campus leaders, professional development and opportunities for advancement, and the possibility of travel to off-campus recruitment events.

The deadline to apply is 7:59 a.m. April 30.
