UO Board of Trustees to hold campus meetings May 19-20

The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will hold its quarterly meeting May 19-20 in the Giustina Ballroom of the Ford Alumni Center on the Eugene campus. 

Board members will get an overview of the academic engagement taking place during the World Athletic Championships Oregon22 as well as hear about the Data Science Initiative. They also will consider changes to the president’s contract, academic program approvals and board leadership actions.

Trustees will review a variety of financial reports and discuss institutional goals and objectives for academic and research priorities, as well as student success, advancement, and communications. Other agenda items include capital project updates and approvals, and reviews of institutional risk planning and the institutional educator equity in teaching preparation plan. 

The meeting’s agenda and materials are available in the meetings section of the board website. Meetings will begin at 9 a.m. May 19 and 9:30 a.m. May 20.

Specify the sign language preference if applicable.

Those wishing to provide comments in writing can submit them at trustees@uoregon.edu. All written comments will be shared with members of the board, but to ensure comments are provided to trustees in advance of the meeting, they must be received by 5 p.m. May 16.
