UO launches search for new chief human resources officer

The University of Oregon has launched a national search for a new chief human resources officer and associate vice president. The Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration conducted several listening sessions over the past month with stakeholders to inform the search process.

The chief HR officer leads the Office of Human Resources in its strategic partnerships with the university community as a comprehensive, innovative and results-oriented department modeled on the best human resources practices. The executive provides strong and effective leadership in the implementation of quality-based, integrated human resources programs for all officers of administration, faculty, staff and student employees of the university.

The university has engaged Parker Executive Search to assist in the recruitment efforts. The position is posted on the university’s career site, and applications are now being accepted.
