UO Libraries' "Discover Music Sale" and "Music Services Intro" set for April 3-4

The UO Libraries will host a Discover Music Sale and a Music Services Intro on Wednesday, April 3, and Thursday, April 4, offering a variety of vintage records and other forms of music.

The combined events will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., each day in the Knight Library’s Browsing Room, 1501 Kincaid Street, on the UO campus.

The sale will feature thousands of vintage 78 rpm records and hundreds of vinyl albums, scores, sheet music and books. Music by artists such as Gershwin, Debussy and Nelson Eddy will be included in the sale, which will span a variety of music genres and time periods.

Library staff members will also be on hand at the event to introduce music lovers to the various music services and music resources the library offers to UO students, faculty, staff and the general public.

Most items in the sale will be priced at $1; boxes of LPs and 78s will be $5. A few other items will be priced as marked. Proceeds from the sale will help fund new acquisitions for the UO Libraries.
