UO Online offers workshops for faculty and graduate instructors

UO Online has announced a slate of new workshops for faculty members and graduate employees to learn more about online tools used for course instruction and best practices for teaching online.

Workshop topics include creating accessible online course content and universal design for learning. Workshops for mastering new programs like Panopto, the UO’s video streaming platform for course instruction, are also offered.

“We are excited to launch workshops for faculty and graduate instructors,” said Carol Gering, associate vice provost for UO Online. “We have a number of new tools for online course instruction, as well as staff in UO Online who can help support online course design and implementation. Workshops will draw on the skills and talents of instructional designers throughout the UO.”
