UO releases preliminary enrollment numbers for fall 2020

The University of Oregon will release its final enrollment census for fall 2020 next month, but preliminary numbers show the incoming freshman class to be just under 4,000 students.

The incoming class is expected to be the 11th largest class in university history and be the most academically prepared ever. It also ties with 2019 for domestic minority at 34 percent of the class.

Preliminary figures show the UO’s undergraduate enrollment will be down about 3 percent. Both the UO’s freshman and total enrollment percentage decreases are expected to be less than the national average. Final numbers will be released after Nov. 1.
