UO scores another visit from ESPN's GameDay team

The eyes of the nation will be on the University of Oregon this Saturday as ESPN’s College GameDay makes its first visit to Eugene since 2018.

The wildly popular national show will air from the Memorial Quad prior to the 10th-ranked Ducks’ game against ninth-ranked UCLA Saturday afternoon. People can enter the GameDay area beginning at 4 a.m. The show goes live at 6 a.m. and runs through 9 a.m.

Kickoff against UCLA is set for 12:30 p.m., and the TV broadcast will air on Fox.

This marks GameDay’s 11th visit to Eugene since 2000. GameDay’s last trip to campus in 2018 saw the Ducks, ranked 20th at the time, fall 38-31 in overtime to seventh-ranked Stanford.

GameDay has rules about what is allowed and not allowed into “the pit” behind the stage, including what can be written on signs. To find out more, check out the rules on the GameDay website.
