UO trustees provide engagement opportunities during spring term

Jimmy Murray, the nonfaculty staff representative on the University of Oregon Board of Trustees, is holding virtual office hours with classified staff Wednesday, May 26, and with officers of administration Thursday, May 27.

Both office hours run from noon to 1 p.m. Murray is a technology specialist and student coordinator with the Price Science Library.

Faculty trustee Laura Lee McIntyre will hold a virtual office hour for faculty colleagues Friday, May 28, from noon to 1 p.m. McIntyre is a professor and head of the Department of Special Education and Clinical Sciences in the College of Education.

McIntyre, who is serving in her second consecutive term on the Board of Trustees, will be completing her service June 30 following four years as the faculty trustee. Newly appointed trustee Ed Madison, an associate professor in the School of Journalism and Communication, will fill the seat vacated by McIntyre beginning July 1.
