UO trustees schedule a winter round of office-hour visits

The student, faculty and nonfaculty staff members of the UO Board of Trustees are each holding another round of office-hour sessions to hear from members of the campus community. The three trustees also held office hours during fall term.

Each trustee will send an email to members of their respective groups inviting them to drop in to ask questions, give feedback and discuss concerns and ideas.

Jimmy Murray, the nonfaculty staff member on the board, is holding two open office hours to connect with classified staff and officers of administration, respectively. Murray is a technology specialist and student coordinator with the Price Science Library.

His drop-in for classified staff members is Wednesday, Feb. 21. The session for OAs is Thursday, Feb. 22.  Both are from noon to 1 p.m. in the Erb Memorial Union’s Metolius Room (see online map).

Faculty trustee Laura Lee McIntyre will hold another office-hour session for faculty colleagues on Friday, Feb. 23 from noon–1 p.m. in Room 109, Friendly Hall. McIntyre is a professor and head of the Department of Special Education and Clinical Sciences.

Student trustee Will Paustian held his winter drop-in with students Feb. 9. Paustian is a junior in the Clark Honors College.

If these times do not work, members of campus should feel free to email the board office.
