UO trustees will hold their September meeting in Portland

The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will hold its quarterly meeting Sept. 15-16 in Room 136 of the Portland location of the Lundquist College of Business.

Board members will get an overview of quarterly finance and treasury reports, the annual report on retirement plan management, an update on career readiness, and overviews from the School of Journalism and Communication, the vice president of research and innovation, UO Portland and the Ballmer Institute. The board will also vote on several action items, including the approval of certain capital projects and an adjustment to the student conduct code.

Other agenda items include standing reports, approval of several resolutions, a presentation and discussion on board governance, a discussion of the upcoming presidential search, and a report from the Office of Internal Audit.

The meeting’s agenda and materials are available in the meetings section of the board website. Meetings will begin at 9 a.m. on both days.

To provide public comment during the meeting or to provide remote public comment, sign up by emailing trustees@uoregon.edu and include name, affiliation with the university, and topic for discussion. Public comment guidelines are available on the board's website.

Those wishing to provide comments in writing can submit them at trustees@uoregon.edu. Written comments will be shared with all trustees, but to ensure comments are sent prior to the meeting, they must be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12.
