Virtual town halls set to answer questions about fall term

As the University of Oregon shifts to a primarily remote and online fall term, two virtual town halls have been scheduled to address questions and provide up-to-date information.

Each session will focus on a specific audience and the UO’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and fall teaching, learning and service. Both will be livestreamed.

The student and family session is 1 p.m. Pacific time Thursday, Sept. 3. Faculty and staff members can join at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9.

President Michael H. Schill and other UO leaders will host the town halls.

See the fall term virtual town halls website for more information, including links to the livestreams and ways to submit questions before and during each event. Both town halls will be recorded for later viewing.
