Years of service events to recognize UO employees

Officers of administration and classified employees will be honored for their years of service  at two special university events this month.

The events will honor employees who have worked at the UO for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years. Classified employees who have been at the university for five years also will be recognized.

On Wednesday, Dec. 3, the service years award ceremony for officers of administration will take place in the Erb Memorial Union Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The service years reception for classified employees will be Wednesday, Dec. 17, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., also at the EMU Ballroom.

Interim UO President Scott Coltrane will speak at both events, along with some of the recognized employees. Honorees also will receive certificates of service and lapel pins.
