Vice president for enrollment management outlines UO's successes

Roger Thompson, the University of Oregon's vice president for enrollment management, emailed faculty and staff of the university this morning to outline some of the UO successes that are contained in fall 2013 enrollment data released last week by the Oregon University System.

Thompson said the UO is on-target for its five primary enrollment goals: Increase academic quality, ethnic and socio-economic diversity, and international enrollment; maintain the UO's affordability, especially for Oregon students; and improve graduation rates by increasing freshman-to-sophomore retention. The university has elected not to increase overall enrollment until faculty numbers and facilities catch up with recent increases in students.
