UO volunteers take part in world's largest day of service

Make a Difference Day — the largest day of service in the world with millions of volunteers — has a big presence on the University of Oregon campus.

On Saturday, Oct. 25, UO students, faculty and staff are invited to volunteer during Make a Difference Day. The Holden Leadership Center is participating in nine different services projects with seven local organizations giving participants multiple choices depending on their areas of interest.

“It’s nice because students stay on campus and it’s great to be a part of something larger, to get off campus and identify needs in the community,” said Phebe Udo, community engagement assistant with Duck Corps.
