UO researchers are on the trail of America's earliest humans

It turns out that much of what we thought we knew about early human migration to this continent is probably wrong.

UO researchers working at archaeological sites in Oregon and along the Pacific Coast are at the forefront of new research that suggests that the earliest humans to arrive in North America got here much earlier than we thought, and they probably arrived by boat.
