The student, nonfaculty staff and faculty trustees want to hear from campus

Trustees also approved Kalapuya Ilihi as the name of the new residence hall

Committee meetings are Thursday, Sept. 7, and the full board meets Friday

The residence hall was renamed in honor of UO grad DeNorval Unthank

Budget issues and a presentation on neuroscience were also on the agenda

Jimmy Murray, a UO Libraries technician, is tapped to served on the governing panel

The decision allows the university to spend up to $20 million to start work on the project

The proposal will go before the Higher Education Coordinating Commission for possible approval

The board will consider a recommendation for a 10.6 percent increase for 2017-18
